Tresor inks co-publishing agreement with Sony Music Publishing

On September 27, African pop sensation Tresor announced he had signed a global co-publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing.
Meaning that his music will now be published globally by Sony Music Publishing and Jacquel Music Publishing, a division of Tresor’s Jacquel Entertainment Group.

The Afro-pop shared the news with his followers on social media in a statement that read, “This is a milestone moment in my music career.
“It is an honour to have my talent recognised on a global scale and to be positioned amongst the best songwriters and composers in the world.
“Thank you to the Sony Music Publishing USA team for welcoming me and aligning with my vision.”
According to the statement, this move positions him among the likes of the late Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Jay-Z, Ed Sheeran, Rihanna and Pharrell Williams.
He also conveyed his appreciation, stating, “I look forward to a fruitful journey together, making music that will be enjoyed for generations to come.”
Simone Dixon, the creative and A&R manager at Sony Music Publishing, expressed her enthusiasm, noting, “Tresor has incredible talent as a songwriter, producer and artist – his unique style blends elements of Pop, Afro-fusion and hip hop and creates a fresh and exciting sound that appeals to global audiences.
“We are happy to welcome Tresor to SMP and we look forward to supporting his creative endeavours.”
