Musa Keys, Tyla and Trevor Noah are nominated for the 66th Grammy Awards
Davido and Musa Keys are nominated for the 2024 Grammy Awards.
The Recording Academy has officially revealed nominations for the 2024 Grammys, which will take place on February 4, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
With the introduction of three new categories, Best African Music Performance, Best Alternative Jazz Album and Best Pop Dance Recording.
As stated by the Recording Academy these history-making category additions are part of a larger set of updates and amendments, which go into effect immediately at the 2024 Grammys, aimed at making the Grammy Awards process “more fair, transparent and accurate”, according to Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr.
Representing South Africa is 21-year-old rising star Tyla for her hit single Water and Musa Keys for his feature on Davido’s Unavailable as well as Trevor Noah for Best Comedy Album. Other African stars nominated for the 66th Grammy Awards are Nigeria’s Burna Boy, Davido, and Ayra Starr.

Burna Boy leads the pack with four nominations for Best Melodic Rap Performance, Best Global Music Album, Best Global Music Performance, and Best African Music Performance. Just behind him is Davido with three nominations.
