Frnkenstein Jr unveils new project and exciting Res Radio Tour
Frnkenstein Jr discusses his latest project, elementFRNK, and the upcoming Res Radio Tour.
The Duduza-based artist has carved out a niche in the music industry, using his music as a medium for storytelling and creative expression. Currently, he’s hard at work on two upcoming albums to be released this year.

“With the Res Tour, we’ll be hitting campus radio stations to showcase our music and raise awareness,” says Frnkenstein Jr.
“Additionally, we’re excited about our YouTube series, Africa’s Realest Tales, which premieres a new episode each month. I’ve also been fortunate enough to collaborate with some celebrity producers on guest verses, though I can’t reveal their names just yet. Suffice it to say, it’s been a goal of mine to feature such collaborations this year, and we’ve already exceeded expectations.”
Frnkenstein Jr made his entrance into the music scene in 2020 with the release of his mixtape, later collaborating with Sportscene Studio on a single and an album.
His visibility skyrocketed after appearing in Sho Madjozi’s trick shot visuals in 2018. The release of his M.O.O.N EP (More Oxymoron Oxygen) in 2021, particularly the standout track ‘First Quarter,’ garnered praise from fans and industry insiders alike, earning recognition from Channel O and Stogie T for #FreestyleFridays.

“By blending a variety of sounds, I’ve crafted a unique sonic identity,” Frnkenstein Jr explains.
“This distinctive approach has helped me stand out in a crowded music landscape, captivating listeners and leaving a lasting impression. Drawing from diverse genres has not only fuelled my artistic growth but also enabled me to connect with a wider audience that may not typically engage with a specific genre. This versatility has the potential to attract an even broader and more diverse fan base.”
In 2022, Frnkenstein Jr made waves with the release of his debut album, ‘Heaven. On. Earth,’ available on various digital platforms. The following year kicked off with a bang with his single, ‘The Nike. Fit’ which was licensed and acquired by Nike Sportswear SA.
