South African music icon Thandiswa Mazwai’s long-awaited Tiny Desk performance, is now available for streaming on YouTube.
In less than 24 hours the concert has received positive reviews from fans all around the world and currently sits on more than 100 000 views.
The Tiny Desk Concert series, curated by NPR Music, has become a platform for artists across genres to showcase their talent in an intimate setting. And Mazwai’s performance is no exception, offering a mesmerising glimpse into her artistry and soul-stirring music.
In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Mazwai expressed her gratitude to the NPR Music team and her fans for their support, saying, “This year has been full of so many beautiful moments. Thank you to the generous team at NPR Music. And to YOU ndiyabulela. NINDENZE UMNTU.”
