When asked about the concept behind Certified Pressure, he said, “I wanted to create something that resonates with a deep, atmospheric vibe. It started with random beats, but after hearing Notbenjamin’s tape, I knew I had to start fresh. That’s when the idea of ‘Certified Pressure’ really took shape—a blend of dark tones and ambient textures.”

Selecting the tracks for the EP was a meticulous process for Youngduragg (Enhle Khumalo), “I aimed for smooth transitions and continuous engagement. Each beat had to stand out while fitting into the overall vibe of the EP.”

Reflecting on the challenges he faced during production, he noted that maintaining quality and staying creatively inspired were tough. However, having mentors like Southside and Notbenjamin helped refine his sound and approach.

Balancing school and music proved demanding, “I do my homework at school so I can focus on music when I get home. It’s all about discipline and making the most of my time.”

His aspirations for the future include achieving platinum and diamond certifications and building a producer collective like 808 Mafia. “Collaborating with someone like Lil Baby would be a game-changer for me,” said Youngduragg.

His advice to aspiring producers, is, “Consistency is everything. Don’t let ‘beat block’ hold you back. Network, stay productive, and believe in your sound.”

Regarding the memorable moments from creating Certified Pressure, Youngduragg shared, “Playing the EP for my family was a highlight. Seeing their reaction was priceless—it validated all the hard work and dedication.”
