Sabo-X and POME present the Bombs and Everything hip-hop experience

Hip-hop in South Africa is more than just music—it’s a movement, a lifestyle, and a culture that continues to evolve. One artist who fully embodies this essence is Thabo ‘Sabo-X’ Twala, a Kwa-Thema native making waves in the industry.
In collaboration with streetwear brand POME (Product of my Environment), Sabo-X is set to present The Bombs and Everything Hip-Hop Experience, an event designed to celebrate and uplift hip-hop culture in all its forms.
Having worked with the likes of Blaklez, TLT Amazing, Tct Music, and Jay Jody, his artistry has always been about more than just dropping singles—it’s about telling stories, preserving the culture, and creating opportunities for the next generation.
His upcoming album, Life of an Audio Dope Dealer, dropping this July, promises to shake up the scene, adding more fuel to the fire that keeps hip-hop alive.
Meanwhile, POME has been a staple in the streetwear game, known for championing self-expression and authenticity. Their collaboration with Sabo-X is a natural fit, merging music and fashion into a cultural experience that will be unforgettable.
“My first encounter with POME was back in 2020 when they gave me a T-shirt. Since then, we’ve built a strong relationship because we share the same vision. POME is more than just a brand; it’s a reflection of the culture. Our collaboration happened organically because we share the same vision—championing authenticity and self-expression. POME’s influence in the fashion and creative scene made them the perfect partner to bring this experience to life, fusing style with sound,” states Sabo-X.

If there’s one thing fans can expect, it’s an explosive lineup. While the full details remain under wraps, Sabo-X teases that the event will feature lyrical heavyweights, new-school innovators, and DJs who know how to bring the energy. “Expect dynamic performances, unexpected collaborations, and moments that will have the crowd fully engaged. We’re curating an experience that truly represents the culture.”
Some artists on the day include Tweezy, TLT Amazing, DJ Nep, Foreverliving Chriis, T-Musik and Iggy.
Beyond the music, attendees can look forward to visual art, storytelling, and fashion showcases, all carefully curated to reflect hip-hop’s deep cultural roots. “This isn’t just a concert; it’s a full-on experience. We’re tapping into every element of hip-hop—dope aesthetics, spoken word, and even a VIP experience,” Sabo-X adds.
A key focus of The Bombs and Everything hip-hop experience is community building and mentorship. “Hip-hop is built on community, and this event is about creating a space where artists and fans can connect, build, and push the culture forward. We’re also looking at mentorship opportunities and collaborations that extend beyond just one night,” says Sabo-X.
With aspirations of making this event a recurring staple in the culture, Sabo-X envisions expanding its impact over time. “This is just the beginning. The goal is to make it bigger and better each time, creating a platform that continues to give back to the culture.”
If you’re a fan of hip-hop, now’s the time to show up and show love. “Pull up. Buy tickets, stream the music, share the content—support the movement. Hip-hop is built on community, and the best way to keep it alive is by engaging with it at every level,” Sabo-X urges.
The event is taking place on March 6 at Bahama Bar in Kwa-Thema from 17:00, entry is free of charge.
And for one lucky fan, POME is giving away a R450 voucher to mark the occasion!
